The Yorkshire Dales National Park is the perfect staycation for you and The Devonshire is the ideal base to be able to sample true Yorkshire Hospitality. We’d be more than happy to help you. We are lucky to be a busy and bustling pub with letting rooms – you won’t be disappointed.
- Choose from our eight beautifully appointed bedrooms, a mixture of Standard Double, Large Double, and Suites. All come with the comforts you’d expect including Smart TV, free WIFI, tea and coffee.
- Your stay will include a choice from our breakfast menu which can be enjoyed in our restaurant or bar area.
- Four of our rooms are also dog friendly, please ask when booking to check availability.
- Rooms will be made up as doubles unless otherwise specified.
- Short term public parking is available in the Square outside the hotel to unload then overnight in Grassington National Park Centre car park a short walk from the hotel, ask for details.
- Reservations require a credit/debit card number, cancellation T&Cs apply, ask for details.
Extras: £40 per extra person per room, per night where possible (the suites). £5 per cot per room, per night. £10 per dog, per room per night where available. Extras are dependent upon room
Dog Friendly – Double Room – Sleeps 2
Mrs Hall
This delightful double room has an en-suite shower room with fabulous rainfall shower. This room is also dog friendly, your furry friends can stay for only an extra £10 per dog, per night. It is rear facing and is Room 1 on our first floor.
Double or Twin Suite – Sleeps up to 4
Darrowby Suite
The Darrowby Suite has the largest floor plan of our rooms so if you are staying for a while we would recommend the Suites for your stay. This rear facing room has a large livng space with large bed that can be split to twins upon prior request and a sofa that can become a small comfy double bed. If you require the sofa bed we will need to know in advance. The bathroom has a bath with shower over it.This is Room 2 on the first floor, it is not a dog friendly room.

Herriot Suite
The dog friendly Herriot Suite is a front facing beautifully appointed room. The high ceiling and tall window give a light and airy feel. The bathroom comprises a toilet, sink. shelves for your toiletries, heated towel rail and shower over a full sized bath. The large bed can be split to twins with prior notice and the sofa can be pulled out to make a small comfy double bed. The Herriot Suite is perfect for families of up to 4 people to stay in, whether for one night or spending a well earned break in The Dales.
This is Room 3 on the first floor.
Double or Twin Room – Sleeps 2
Siegfried Farnon
This oak beamed, beautiful room is, by far, our most requested. The low ceiling and quaint window seat to be able to look over the Square give this room a homely, rustic charm. A fully appointed bathroom with shower over the full sized bath is a luxurious addition. The Siegfried Farnon room is not a dog friendly room. The beds can be split to twins upon prior request. This is Room 4 and is on the first floor.
Double Room – Sleeps 2
Helen Alderson
A bright, front facing double room with high ceilings. An excellent view over Main Street and Grassington Square. This room has a couple of steps into it and has its own shower room with a delightful rainfall shower. This room is carpeted and therefore not dog friendly. This is Room 5 on the first floor.

Skeldale Suite
The Skeldale Suite benefits from lovely views over Main Street and Grassington Square. The addition of a window seat ensures that you can keep track of everything happening in this busy and bustling street through the heart of the village. While the smallest of the Suites, it is perfectly formed and it’s high ceiling makes sure that it feels light and airy. It has a lovely bathroom with full sized bath with shower over. The large bed can be split to twins upon prior request. The sofa bed can also put out to create a small double for an additional two guests. This room is dog friendly and is Room 6 on the first floor.
Dog Friendly – Double Room – Sleeps 2
Tricki Woo
A dog friendly double room that is side facing and benefits from a full bathroom with both bath and an over bath shower. The bed itself is large and luxurious. This is Room 7 on the first floor.
Double or Twin Room – Sleeps 2
Tristan Farnon
A non dog friendly large double room that can be split to twins with prior notice. The Tristan Farnon room benefits from double aspect windows over the front and side of the building, flooding the room with lots of light. The bathroom has a full sized bath with shower over. This is room 8 on the first floor and is the furthest room from the staircase to access the rooms.
