There is some parking outside on the Square but these spaces are limited to two hours. We always recommend the Yorkshire Dales National Parks car park. It is a couple of minutes walk to the pub. Please follow the signs for parking when you enter the village, the car park is by the Tourist Information Centre. It is a pay and display car park, the rates are available on their website. There is overnight parking available and the cost for hourly, 24 hours, 48 hours and weekly parking is listed for you. There are electric car charging points and ample disabled parking
Sadly not, our smoke alarms are so sensitive in the pub and the rooms that even vapes can set them off. Anyone found to have been smoking in the rooms will have a £200 charge added to their bill.
Unfortunately, not. All of our 8 rooms are on the first floor and are accessed via the stairs. There is one full staircase.
Unfortunately not, the accessible bathroom facilities within Grassington’s pubs and cafes is at the Tourist Information Centre.
There are 2 ways to purchase; on the website or getting in touch directly. Vouchers have 12 months to be able to use them on food, drink or accommodation.
We have storage for some bikes and also a contact at The Town Hall if there are several to be stored
We support Fell Rescue – there is a donations box on the bar. They do amazing work in and around the area of The Dales.
We charge £9.95 for Gin and Hoodie delivery and then, £4.50 for additional items.
All other items costs £4.95 for the first item and then £2.50 for additional items.
If you have a mixture of items then we charge the postage on the Gin and Hoodie rate and do not add the costs for the smaller/lighter items.
Our bar area (anywhere there is hard flooring) is dog friendly. If you wish to dine with us please let us know if you will be bringing a dog. Four of our rooms are dog friendly. They have wood flooring rather than carpet. We recommend keeping your dog with you at all times. Please bring their beds with them.
We would always recommend booking, especially over the weekend. However during peak season we can be busy every lunch and evening. We hate to let people down but sometimes we are unable to accommodate people.
All of our gluten free options are listed on the menu. Please ask us for more details if you have a dietary need and we will be happy to help.
Breakfast is served between 8am and 10am, please feel free to come down anywhere between those times if you are staying with us. If you are not staying with us you can book anywhere between those times or simply “walk in”.
The white building opposite the pub is used as Skeldale House, it is private accommodation and is called Manor House.
We stay open during filming so you’re welcome to come and see what is happening.
The cast of All Creatures (and the crew) are all lovely. It Is great to see the same people still working on the show from the first season.
